2021 Small works
The process of germination has been scientifically summarized in 5 stages, yet remains mysterious. This body of work gives voice to the effects of light and darkness during this process. Although many factors contribute to the sprouting of a seed, the movement towards light is critical. Photomorphogenesis is the process by which plants grow and develop in response to light signals. These sculptures are an affirmation of this process, an organic instinct deeper than words.
